Nutmeg IFT 2013-’14 Kick Off meeting on Sept 25th announced
The Nutmeg section of IFT invites you to our kick off meeting for the 2013-2014 year. This year, we are partnering with Feeding America and the IFT Student Association (IFTSA) of the University of Connecticut to recognize September as Hunger Action month. We will host a two-part Nutmeg IFT Gives Back event on Sept. 25, 2013
Part I: A volunteer event at the Connecticut Food Bank, 150 Bradley Street, East Haven CT 06512 [www.ctfoodbank.org]. We invite members to sign-up for one of two time slots between 4:00-5:30 p.m., and 6:00-7:30 p.m. Space is limited to 14 individual per time slot, so please sign up early. Closed toed shoes and comfortable dress attire is recommended. Please register online here
Part II: A post volunteer cocktail reception at Barcelona Restaurant and Wine Bar [http://www.barcelonawinebar.com/] 155 Temple Street, New Haven CT [In Omni, New Haven hotel] between 5:30 – 8:30 p.m.
A selection of tapas will be provided at $30 per person. If you cannot volunteer but wish to attend this event please register here
In order to make this a hugely successful event, we encourage our members to bring along their associates and volunteer friends. However, please register for both events
