Nutmeg IFT celebrating 45th anniversary – Welcome to our September meeting

We are very excited to announce Nutmeg IFT’s first meeting in 2012 that is scheduled on Wednesday, September 19 as we begin to celebrate our 45th Anniversary. Dr. Bob Ross, one of the National IFT Board of Directors, and a past Chair of the Nutmeg Section has agreed to be our speaker. Please look for details in the attached flyer. Welcome!

As Chair-Elect / Program Chair, I would also like to welcome everyone to the Nutmeg Section of IFT for an exciting 2011/2012 year ahead of us. Being a food scientist professional for several years in the food industry, I find the organization to be a valuable aspect of my professional career as it promotes interest in the field of food science, provides networking opportunities among food professionals, and keeps members informed through various lectures and seminars throughout the year. I look forward to seeing everyone at all the Nutmeg events throughout the coming year!
