Students who are studying food science or a related field are welcome to join Nutmeg IFT. Scholarship Program Announcement:

The Nutmeg Section of the Institute of Food Technologists awards scholarships annually.  The Nutmeg IFT Scholarship program is designed to foster the study of Food Science and Technology and related fields for students based in the Connecticut area. In addition, this program is also used as a recruitment tool for local colleges and universities that promote the advancement of Food Science/Technology or other closely related fields.  In 2013-2014, the section awarded a total of $2,400 to qualified students.
